60th Birthday

not my 60th birthday...i'm nowhere near 60..lol..not even half of it..

it was my uncle's 60th birthday..lol...

so we went to celebrate it at his sons shop..

the one in ara damanasara...Loong Grill Fish..

it was lotsa fun..just like all the other family gatherings..lol..

lots of people..lots of noise..lots of happy faces..and best of all lots of food XD

i saw my cousin's son Howard for the first time!! he's so big d..and so cute! hahahaha..

and he's so cute..he went around distributing the red eggs to everyone..

and then he sat down beside his uncle, my cousin, paul and cracked his own egg on the table..

lol..i was watching him eat a the egg...he ate it and watching him eat is a pleasure..lol..

it's practically like the egg was the best dish in the whole world..lol..

and then my cousin took another red egg and cracked it on the lil boy's forehead..he just looked up and laughed..lol..then he took a red egg and went to his mum and knocked it on her forehead and started laughing..hahahaha...

then he proceeded to eat his second red egg of the day..lol..

my other cousin's son..baby oliver..lol..he's so round..we named him roli oli poli..hahaha

the ice ice baby drink...made of strawberry's..lol..definitely cooling on a hot day...inside there was some round thing that looked like the thing the put in the bubble tea..but this one was softer and it pops in your mouth..lol..

this is my mango drink...but i don't think it's really mine coz my sis hijacked it as soon as it arrived at the table..lol..and i only got to take a sip!

i wanted to take pictures of the food..but i was too hungry..lol..so i totally forgot about pics..lol..by the time i remembered the food was gone..all in our tummy's d..hahaha

Sports Day!

Puay Chai's sports day today..

they held it at the petaling jaya stadium..lol..dunno why they call it pj stadium when it's in kelana jaya..

being the good sister i am, i got up super early to go n cheer for my sister!! and also my nieces.. lol..i felt so grown up...or in other words..old..hahaha..some of the kids there were so tall!! and big sized also!! they didn't look like primary school kids!!

some of them look so adult..they looked more like secondary school kids rather than primary school kids..especially when you see them in outside clothes..

they had a band!! hahaha..it wasn't a big band la..but they were quite good..lol..not too bad..

so many ppl rite?? lol..and this wasn't even all of they're students...just part of them..

i found out that they had competitions in the school to pick those who get to come and participate in the sports day..those who didn't get chosen don't get to participate...poor thing right? if i were them i'd be so upset...so competitive...i told my parents that they're so competitive...n they said..."it's a chinese school" hahaha

and they had lotsa games..alot of track and field...
hurdles, 50m, 100m, 150m, 200m, 4 times 100m relay...

they run so fast!! lol..it was like..one minute they're at the starting line and the next zzzooooommm!!! they're gone!! hahaha
it was so funny to watch the primary one and two kids in the hurdles and running and all..
they looked sooo cute!!!

you see those little colourful thigs?? those were the hurdles for the primary one kids..

coz they were way too small to use the normal hurdles..lol..

these were the normal hurdles..like the ones we used in secondary school!

that little girl pulling the blue ball is my sister!! hahaha..all those teachers were blocking the way...couldn't get a clear picture..

they were playing the game where you drag the ball with the hula-hoop...
lol..Ashley's team got 2nd place and Nicky's team got 3rd place!

weddings and newsletters

ok....panic...sigh..now i'm scared..lol..exams are coming up and i am so not ready for it..i've got about a week left and still i'm not studying like i should be...i mean..i know i shud be studying but...it's just not getting into my head!!!!!

the only thing i'm thinking bout now is...

shit!! i got so much to study and so little time to do it!!!

lol....but even though i'm thinking that..i still got time to draw and write stories...lol..

i really should get rid of the habit of doing things last minute...

anyway...for the past 3 days i haven't studied at all coz i was helping my aunts :) i'm such a good girl..hahahaha...

on friday and saturday i was helping my florist aunt..coz she had to do flowers for 2 weddings on saturday...

and i found out why people always give roses as a sign of love and use it for weddings and all..

seriously mann! i think last time ppl plant and pick they're roses themselves..

my aunt had to do roses..so since i'm the youngest...she made me do the de-thorning..

the thorns were like little nails!!!

every time i pick up a rose to de-thorn..i get pricked!!

and then i accidently dropped a thorn on the floor didn't see it and stepped on it!

it got stuck on my leg!! so painful!!

thats why they charge so much for roses!! hahahaha..and thats why it was supposed to show love...go through all the pain to give that person the roses...

ok..i'm crapping d...lol...hahaha..

anyway...i did the brides maids bouquets!! it looked nice!! hahaha

not as great as my aunts one la...but nice..

and then the wedding car arrived!!

seriously beautiful car mann!!!!

the guy bought the car for his wive...so loving rite?? and the car costs half a million!!

hahahaha...

and then on sunday...went to help my aunts with the ti-ratana newsletters...

2000 over...we had to fold the newsletters in half, put it into the envelopes,

seal the envelopes and paste the address on the envelopes...

then pack it into piles of 50 each...

i sat down on the floor and sealed the envelopes until my hand also just move automatically d!! hahahaha...

i counted, i sealed about 1000 envelopes!!

lol...my butt seriously hurt after that!

but it was kinda fun la...fun coz my aunts always chatter alot...and sumtimes they're really funny..hahaha...so nice to listen n join in the chattering also..lol..

Mosquitoe bites!!!

i hate mosquitoes!!!!

i have got 51 bloody mosquitoe bites on my leg!!! 51!!

and that is just my right leg!! ONLY MY RIGHT LEG!!!

ish..i hate mosquitoes...now my leg looks like it's got chicken pox...

red spots all over..so stupid!! and the spots won't go away..it takes like 2 or 3 days to dissappear!!

seriously...what were the mosquitoes thinking??!!

it's like my room is a midnight mamak stall...

and the specialty is SUYEN's RIGHT LEG!

i told am bout it...n she said add a few disco lights..and serve 'bloody' suyen..it would be the hottest mosquitoe nightclub in town..lol..

i actually already put the mosquitoe repellent thing in my room...but the still come to celebrate and have a party anyway...

so..i decided to give them a surprise last nite..lol..

i waited up for them...wanted to give them a 'warm' welcoming with fireworks and all...

hahaha...i took out the thing that looks like a racket..the one with electricity wan..

and you know what??!!

they didn't turn up until i switched off the lights and was about to fall asleep =.="

so i switched on the lights and found out the racket thing got no battery...hahaha

so i switched to the normal mode..use my hands and kill them..

i got 7 mosquitoes!! hahahaha

totally satisfied..i paid them back..lol..

study leave started.....

ok...lol..first day of study leave..hahaha...so boring wei..it's like...BORING!!

lol..just plain boring...got up at 6 sumthing in the morning thanks to someone...

called me up n ask me ''u still sleeping ar??!! skipping college today?" hahaha...didn't know that i started holidays d..lol..

and then i lazed around in bed n was half in n out 0f sleep..hahaha..got up at 9 sumthing..

holidays are seriously boring...i miss college already..miss seeing all the ppl i have been seeing for a year and a half...hahaha...when i got coll i wish it was hols..n when i got hols i wish it were coll days again..

then i kacau amily...ask her for exam times since i was too lazy to copy them on the last day of coll..hahaha...i actually didn't even realize that i didn't have the exam times till sumone asked me for them...lol..

and am only got up at 12 sumthing..hahaha...then we chit chatted for awhile...n she said she missses going online n she especially misses Ali...hahahaha...and also as per usual..her dear JP...lol..

i really shud be studying...hahaha...i dunno why i'm online...exams are in two weeks and i haven't really started studying...lol..like...not enough stress yet..hahaha

anyway, i saw a quote sumwhere it said :

Basketball !!!!

got up at around 7.50..then waited for my dad to get up to ask whether i was allowed to go for basketball

and then...asked d..he said ok..hahaha...so i msg yvonne n woke her up..i think...lol..

then we went for bball la...she picked me up from tmn.jaya lrt..n we went to the old town court..

i still think the kelana jaya court was the best...

lol..but it's nearer for the juniors to play there so they play there..

when we reached i was trying to spot nai lin...n she looks just like one of them!!! hahaha..

quite alot of ppl la...more than when we used to go for practice..they had around 15 ppl? i think..

and nai lin is SO LENIENT with them!!

hahaha...we just stood there n watched them train..while we talk..lol..

and then we realized that yvonne was the tallest person there...followed by me n nai lin..n the juniors were tiny!! lol..

then after awhile around 9 sumthing..they wanted to play 4 on 4...so nai lin seperated me n yvonne..put us in 2 different groups and we played...hahaha..

it was a nightmare!! i mean i was never good at it..but now...i'm even worse!! lol..

and the juniors mostly speak chinese...so...halfway playing suddenly hear a string of chinese words here n there...lol..

played 2 games and then went n sat down n talk to nai lin..lol..

and u shud c the basketball club registration form!!

it's so cute!! hahaha...i mean the words and all la...

and then i got home at around..11 sumthing...

basketball was FUN!!!! XD

interesting day

got up at around 8 sumthing? lol...then just lazed around till 9 sumthing...dunno what i did in that one hour..all i know is that..i got up looked at my phone..n it was 8 sumthing..n the next time i looked at it it was 9 sumthing!! hahaha..amazing rite??

then i heard my mum n sis get up..so i decided it was time to kick myself out of bed..

went downstairs..ate breakfast..and then found out that my mum had the day planned..

she told me that we were going to my cousins shop opening in Ara Damansara..and that my aunts were all going also...

so..ok lo...then i saw the sushi rice...called sumo calrose rice or sumthing..lol..so i said i wanna try n make sushi..dat time was around 10..

so my mum was like..ok..np..can..then can let my aunts all try also..but my aunts were supposed to come and fetch us at around 11...

so we were wondering if sushi can be made in an hour..n we decided to try it anyway!

hahaha..and we made it in an hour...it was eatable..but not great..lol..

not bad enough to poison you...but not great enough to sell..

then we waited n waited n waited for my aunts to arrive...

n at around 12 sumthing we called them n they were still at home doing the flowers!!

so we gave up waiting n went to my tua ee's(eldest aunt) house to wait...when we reached there we found out my sa ee (third aunt) had also given up waiting for them to fet6ch her...

lol...so she also drove to my tua ee's hse to wait...

we waited till bout 1 and then only my other two aunts arrived..

hahaha...then we finally set out on our journey to my cousins new shop..

as i said at the top of this super long winded post...the shop is in Ara Damansara..

so we went through kelana jaya that side...near my old place...and surprisingly the place was so easy to find!!!

hahaha..we didn't get lost! so we went to the shop and.. Wow!! so many flowers already...no place to put ours outside so we put it inside XD

then my cousin's cousin came out n he was like "remember me? i used to visit all of you when i was young. U're patricks aunty's rite?"

he said it all in hokkien la...but my han yi pin yin is terrible..so..i translated it into english..

then they were talking n all...and then we finally sat down..

my cousin's paul and patrick came n talk and all..

then they ask what we wanna eat and all..

we couldn't decide..so they said they help us decide..lol...

so much easier..no need to choose...

so we ate rice with

assam fish, kailan with the buttery thingy, crab (i forgot what kinda crab it's called), herbal chicken, clam soup and escargot fried with butter and garlic..

it was great!! hahaha..except for the part where the crab flew onto my dress and made my dress get stains on it la...hahaha...but dat was me being careless...so my fault..

we drank sum small cute pink drink..which is crushed strawberrys n ice..called ice ice baby..

and a nice mango slurpee thing..and a 7up with lemon n sum popping bola assam thing inside...and a nice honey n aloevera..and a colourful jelly with pink ice on top..and a champagne s h e..it had bright green jelly thing at the bottom..lol..so interesting!

oh..btw, the shop is called LOONG GRILL FISH..

but they sell alot of other things also la..lol..

nice food..

then...

we were supposed to go n watch the 11th hour at the KLpac...the thing starts at 3..

by the time we left my cousin's shop it was 2.50 sumthing almost 3..

so by the time we reached klpac it was 3.30

we went in n watch the last hur of the documentary...

it was great..

alot of info on global warming n stuff...

shall write bout it when i have the time..lol

then after that we went back to my tua ee's house for tea!

ate chocolate cake..

and then sat down n chit chat until 8...

n then came home..lol..
